Welcome! I’m Marina Fierz

I am a professional photographer and artist working out of Victoria, BC, on Lekwungen territories. Most of my time behind the lens is spent as a wedding photographer. While I love shooting against the breathtaking backdrop of Vancouver Island, I am also open to travelling to photograph your wedding abroad. My goal is to make you feel relaxed and unashamed in front of the camera so that we can capture your story the way it deserves to be told. Reach out and let’s start our journey together!

Since I am a mother myself, I find much joy in motherhood and family photography as well. You’ll find very little posing and staged shots in my work, since I focus on the genuine relationship between people and the natural expressions and movements that happen in the moment.

As an artist, my work is ever-evolving. My most widely sold styles include ink and resin as well as fluid acrylics. My work has been displayed across Canada and sold globally. I currently only accept limited commissions since I’m a full-time mom to a wonderful and very busy little boy.

I first noticed Marina on Facebook while searching for a wedding photographer. Her portfolio was small as she is building it up but from what I saw I was intrigued. Cory and I had a zoom meeting with Marina and both of us were pleased with our first meeting and the precise questions and explanations on some of the different shots.

We chose to book Marina for pre-Wedding, during our ceremony and for our Wedding photos afterwards. She arrived on time when she said she would and really got right down to business. Marina definitely has a great eye and knows her way around her camera. She was very knowledgeable in what kind of pictures she wanted to take and had many more ideas than myself or husband had in mind. Marina also took the time to make sure she asked us what we were looking for and either took those photos or figured out a way to not change our idea too much but what would work better. Cory and I could not believe our little wedding could look so absolutely stunning. The final images are the picture of elegance and sophistication. The backyard wedding ceremony turned out fantastic! Marina really had a way of making our modest wedding look extravagant! The both of us are extremely grateful to Marina for her time and energy capturing our precious memories with great skill and talent. Myself and my brand new husband would both highly recommend Marina if you are looking for someone who will exceed all your expectations and deliver images that will literally take your breath away!
