Photography FAQ

  • How and when will I receive my photos? My editing turnover time is between 5-12 weeks, depending on the season and the type of event. You will receive a link and passcode in your email that will allow you to access and download your final edited high-resolution digital images. I will provide you with a “sneak peak” gallery within 7 days of your booked session.

  • Can I buy more photos than the package offers? Yes, absolutely! Additional edited photos can be purchased at $5 per photo.

  • How does booking your photography services for destination weddings work? You pay for the travel expenses and accommodation, I will be there! The package pricing is the same for destination weddings.

  • Can you send me unedited photos? Unfortunately, no. I only provide you with edited photos so as to maintain the standard of my photographs.

Floral Preservation FAQ

  • Why is your minimum commission rate so high? I just want a small piece. I am currently only accepting very limited commissions since I am also a photographer and full time mother. As such, I have decided only to move forwards with larger projects for the time-being. I will announce on my Instagram (@marinafierz) any time that I have availability for smaller pieces, such as coasters and wall-hangings.
  • Can I use flowers that are dried? Yes, you can absolutely bring me your pre-dried flowers. It’s worth noting that the final result will have more of a “vintage” touch, since the flowers will often have lost some of their vibrant colour and shape. The resin will not cause the colours of previously dried flowers to brighten.
  • Will I get a discount if I provide and dry my own flowers? Yes and No – Yes, I will remove a percentage of the cost if you provide me with your own flowers. This number will vary depending on the project size and scope. No, I do not provide a discount for drying your own flowers. In fact, I recommend against this, since I use very specific drying methods in order to retain maximum vibrancy and shape.
  • Oops – I scratched my custom floral piece. What now? That’s OK! For a small fee, I am happy to apply a fresh coat of tabletop resin to your piece. It will look good as new in no time.
